HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Precious Plastic is an open source community where all the designs and machines created by Dave Hakkens are available on their website. Our kit is an add-on to the original kit which shows our changes and what we did to condense the system to fit on a 1x1 metre pallet. It also contains content for how we run our engagement events and how we make different products.

  • Create

    This section contains designs and products that we have made with our machines. These are a great place to get started and build from.

  • Engage

    This section contains engagement methods, lesson plans and signage for all engagement events. This content is to be used for events regarding the Precious Plastic Monash brand.

  • Build

    This section contains designs and drawings of the machines and the integration unit. It also contains breakdowns of all the changes made to the machines as well as safety hazards to look out for during operations of the machines.
