Machines Up and Running

In February 2018, PPM was established with the goal of having modified versions of Dave's machines up and running by August 2018. To get to the stage where we were happy to manufacture the machines, the team went through multiple design iterations before settling on our final concept.
The new and improved machines sport the following features;
- Shredder re-designed with tri-spoke blades, viewing panels and a longer chute for efficiency and safety
- Compressor inverted and fitted with threaded jig plates to easily and accurately mount moulds
- Extruder output maximum pressure increased for larger product capacity
- Modular and removable Injector frame that transports load back to the main unit frame
- Footprint of all four machines combined reduced to 1m x 1m
- Audiovisual devices mounted to supplement educational workshops
- Single phase electrical input
- Transportable via pallet jack
