New Year, New Team

Written by Monique Lautee

After a very successful 2018, we had to say thank you and goodbye to many of our hard working members as they moved on from University life and on to bigger and better things with their careers. This meant we had to recruit new team members to continue and expand our impact in 2019. The recruitment process showed us how passionate students were to be a part of our plastic army and it was no easy decision finalising our new team. Once chosen, the 2019 team - new and continuing! - gathered for a Welcome BBQ along the Yarra river in January to meet each other and kick-off what is going to be a jam-packed and exciting year for PPM.

We pride ourselves on being a diverse and inclusive student team and promote a sustainable working environment for all our members. As the saying goes, we like to “work hard, play hard” here at PPM and enjoy celebrating together - especially if there’s food involved.

We’re regularly on the lookout for passionate new team members, so if you’d like to be involved with finding solutions to plastic pollution, keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media pages for the next round of recruitment.
