Divisions

Marketing and Media

The Marketing team develops and implements strategies to promote brand awareness and produces all the visual materials to represent the organisation. They focus on maintaining the website, creating content for various social media platforms and promoting key messages and events to the community. They also have involvement in original campaigns including waste reduction campaigns on campus and behaviour change campaigns!

Technical Research and Development

The Technical Research and Development team is in charge of researching new and emerging technologies, processes, plastic materials and tools and developing the current and future machines. They are primarily responsible for our well-renowned Integration Unit, but also maintain and develop our other machines like ovens, sheet presses and granulators.

Operations & Partnerships

The Operations & Partnerships division liaise with important stakeholders to form partnerships and collaborations across all divisions of the team. The team deals with all the finances and transactions, as well as maintaining internal communications and operations within the entire team. The newly found consulting team within the division aims to work with businesses to transition to more sustainable practices.

Products

The Products team is responsible for developing and producing products. They plan to create products that reflect the community’s needs and expectations. The development of new and innovative products are intended to drive engagement and sales in the market.

Beyond Plastic

Beyond Plastic is a sub division of Technical Research and Development. They specifically focus on researching biodegradable alternatives to plastic as well as different methods to produce products. Our BP division is new and unique, developing new solutions to plastic reduction in a materials based way.

Outreach

The Outreach team is responsible for planning, organising and implementing all the events, which aim to educate the community. Most of our attendees are students of all ages, as well as sustainable members of the community. Our Outreach division also creates resources which are available as open source to the public.
